Robert Half Finance & Accounting Business Development Manager in BALTIMORE, Maryland
Robert Half is currently looking for a Business Development Manager to grow out the east coast region of a technology organization. Summary of Responsibilities: 1. Execute new business development initiatives including the acquisition of new customers. 2. Grow new account revenues and strengthen existing relationships in order to drive further account growth. 3. Make a high volume of cold calls, manage accounts, and schedule appointments to meet with prospective clients. 4. Conduct business reviews, new product presentations and work cross-functionally with other divisions to ensure quality of service is delivered to key customers. 5. Manage the closing process of the sale and all contract negotiations. 6. Provide market intelligence and communicate with management. 7. Develop sales and product strategies that will allow for successful execution of future sales growth plans.

Requirements: Qualifications: 1. 5-10+ years of B2B sales experience 2. IT, telecommunications, hardware sales or environmental services experience 3. Aggressive sales mentality with a drive for results 4. Strong business acumen and communication skills with the ability to conduct sales presentations and reviews. 5. Ability to travel locally up to 50%-70% (east coast). 6. Demonstrated ability to implement comprehensive marketing and sales plans and programs leading to solid revenue growth. 7. Strong competencies relating to marketing, product team leadership, formulating business development initiatives and negotiating. 8. Ability to work independently and provide innovative ideas or creative solutions. 9. Ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of staff and management. 4 This position requires local travel and has a base plus commission structure. Starting salary is between $70k-$80k base with an all in compensation goal of $120k-$150k and other additional perks and benefits.
